Danny Granger believes the time has come for the Indiana Pacers to pass the Bulls in the Central Division standings. ”I think it’s ours to lose right now”, Granger told Indy Cornrows, about Indiana overtaking the division crown that the Bulls have won the past two seasons. When asked about the reigning title holders, Granger said “it’s hard to say” on what to expect from them, although he does believe Derrick Rose’s return will have a major impact on the Bulls season because according to Granger it’s “up in the air how he’ll be”.
Adding a little extra motivation for Derrick Rose, Granger, who believes the Pacers are a top-2 team in the East behind Miami, said: “When you’re coming off an ACL, you’re never the same that next year”. Meanwhile, Chicago doesn’t get a mention in the same presumptuous breath as a threat to the East. Paging Joakim Noah, he’s sleeping on you guys. The Bulls play the Pacers on December 4th at the United Center, circle it.
