knicksnets Knicks To Open Season Against Nets

Who’s the king of New York? It won’t take long for the rivalry to heat up, according to Newsday, the New York Knicks will open the 2012-2013 NBA season against the Brooklyn Nets at the new Barclays Center on November 1st.  It will be each team’s inaugural game and will be televised on TNT.  According to the report, the Knicks home opener will be played the following night against the defending champion Miami Heat who eliminated them in 5 games in the first round of the playoffs. The full 2012-2013 NBA schedule will be released tomorrow night on NBATV at 7 pm.
