According to CSN Chicago, “the deal is done”, Marco Belinelli has agreed to sign with the Chicago Bulls. Belinelli will not only add spot up shooting to make up for the loss of Kyle Korver and CJ Watson, but also some off the dribble scoring, which the Bulls have not been accustomed to outside of Derrick Rose. Last season with the New Orleans Hornets, Marco Belinelli averaged 12 points and 2.5 rebounds. According to Ken Berger of CBS Sports, Belinelli and the Bulls have agreed to a 1-year deal for the bi-annual exception- $1.96 million. ”When the Bulls called me, I was so happy. I can play with a star like Derrick Rose. I think this is the best opportunity for me to go out and try to win a championship,” said Marco Belinelli Tuesday from the Berto Center. He later tweeted confirmation and excitement in becoming a Chicago Bull.
