Newest Net Joe Johnson was recently asked which New York team is better, and the 11-year veteran didn’t take long to respond. “Definitely Nets,” Johnson said. “Brooklyn Nets.”

It wasn’t long before someone asked Carmelo Anthony his thoughts on Johnson’s remark, but he wasn’t threatened by the “trash talk” saying, “ we’ll ready for the challenge“. 

Now that Anthony had his say, aren’t you interested in how the Defensive Player of the Year responded to the comment? Here’s what Tyson Chandler had to say on the Nets being the better team in New York:

“Ive heard a little bit, but I think its foolish. The Nets are just coming together. I think its pointless for them to talk to us about anything. First, they need to establish themselves.”

“Its just a lot of talk for nothing. Its almost the same thing as us talking mess to the Dream Team. It cant happen right now, so I’ll let all my talking speak for itself the first time we play the Nets.”

“They are trying to make a beef or whatever thats not there, to be honest with you. Its easy to talk in the summertime, but well see how things go when the season starts.”

One things for sure, fans are definitely marking the first Knicks vs. Nets matchup on their calendar- as they should be.
