butrose Jimmy Butler Praises Derrick Roses Rehab Work Ethic
Jimmy Butler recently sat down with Adam Fluck of Bulls.com (good read!) to talk about his excitement for the upcoming Vegas Summer League next week that he has been diligently preparing for – and of course Fluck was able to squeeze in a question about this summer’s biggest mystery, Derrick Rose, one of Butler’s closest teammates who he sees daily at the Berto:

“Derrick is working extremely hard. He wants to be back as soon as possible and he won’t settle for anything less. He’s been [at the Berto Center] bright and early, breaking sweats and doing whatever it takes to get his knee stronger. It’s good to see him in here doing that because it makes it even easier for me.”

Derrick Rose has yet to make a public appearance or statement since April 28th and is currently rehabbing away from Chicago, in Los Angeles.  Jimmy Butler has begun mini-camp in preparation for the Summer League - the Bulls tip off on July 17, and Butler says he’s ready to be a “leader…and win games”.
