Lin-Fields Lucky Couch Nominated For NBA Social Media Award

By now, we all now how Jeremy Lin got his start–Landry Fields’ lucky couch. Before having the game of his life vs. the Nets on February 4th, Landry Fields kindly allowed teammate Jeremy Lin to stay over at his White Plains apartment. After sleeping on Fields’ couch the night prior to one of the best runs in NBA history, the joke began that it was lucky, especially after Landry Fields posted a photo of the couch to his Twitter account.

Now famous, the photo of the lucky couch is nominated for the “Snap Shot Award” at this year’s NBA Social Media Awards. It is among 5 other photos uploaded by NBA stars such as Dwyane Wade, Kevin Love, and even Knicks teammate Amar’e Stoudemire. Stoudemire’s snap shot of a morning walk with his children is up for the award as well.
