232660 Bulls GM Optimistic Derrick Rose Will Play Next Season

Bulls GM, Gar Forman, took part in the first Q&A session hosted on Bulls.com which will air in segments throughout the off-season.  Fans are asked to send in questions which will be hand picked by Forman to answer in a video blog.  It comes as no surprise that one of the questions sent in asked “How is Derrick doing?”.  Forman’s response:

“Derrick Rose is doing terrific. He’s been diligent in his rehab and he is making tremendous progress.  The biggest thing that has been encouraging about Derrick is his mentality towards the rehab. He’s working each and every day, putting a lot of effort into it.  We’re optimistic that if he continues to make the type of progress that he has, that we will see Derrick back on the floor at some point next season.“

Rose continues his rehabilitation in Chicago, has yet faced the media, but his teammates and those around him continue to praise his progress.  You can watch Gar Forman’s full Q&A below:
