Initial reports of a torn right patella for Baron Davis have gone from bad to worse over the past 24 hours. After undergoing an MRI this morning, it was determined that along partial tendon tear in his right patella, Davis also has a torn ACL and MCL. He will undergo surgery later this week and the recovery window is set at 12 months. At 34, it would be very surprising if Baron Davis makes a full recovery to the NBA. Prayers up to BD!
That’s now 3 NBA players who have suffered torn ACL’s in this year’s NBA playoffs (Derrick Rose & Iman Shumpert).
