Carlos Boozer, Kyle Korver, C.J. Watson and Rip Hamilton talk about the win over the Knicks and look ahead to Thursday game against the Miami Heat:

Watson on Miami: It’s a big game, just because of the team they have, the record they have, and we’re trying to fight for that top seed in the East, so it’s going to be a big game to determine who gets that top seed.   Two teams being very competitive, going out there trying to win a game, sometimes tempers flare.”

Rip Hamilton: “I thought C.J. did an excellent job of getting me easy baskets, especially on the break…I still missed a lot of easy shots that I usually make 90% of the time but it’s coming together.”

Carlos Boozer on Rip: “It was the first time we saw him that aggressive, and it was good, it gave us a huge lift.”

Carlos Boozer: “Yeah, we’re just taking it one game at a time.  Obviously, everybody’s looking forward to getting to the post-season but we’ve gotta take care of business the rest of the way.”

Kyle Korver: “I thought we came out and played a much more focused game.  We didn’t get down 21 points in the first quarter which obviously helps a lot.  I thought we played a pretty good 48 minute game, where as the other night we didn’t play a good first quarter and obviously the last two minutes were not very good.”

Korver on Rip: “It was great to see him play like that. That’s the Rip that, you know, we’ve all been waiting for, he’s had a tough year with injuries. He was a huge lift for us tonight, for sure.”

Korver on Jimmy Butler: “Jimmy’s like the perfect rookie. He comes and works hard every day, he’s strong as can be, he plays really hard, and he’s a great defender obviously. He’s working on his offensive game and he’s someone that’s fearless.  He goes out there and he doesn’t care who it is, he doesn’t care what the name is on the back of the other jersey, and he’s guarded Lebron like that, Carmelo, you know, he just steps up.”
