Amar’e Stoudemire received an epidural shot in his back last week (Thursday) and was estimated to be out 2-4 weeks. When asked the best-case scenario for a return, he responded, “I’ll keep you posted as I go along.” A week later, and Stoudemire traveled to Orlando with the Knicks. Though he did some back strengthening while the Knicks shot around, he remained in silent mode.
According to Marc Berman of the NY Post, a source familiar to the situation said he will not be ready for the showdown in Milwaukee on Wednesday- which would be the 2 week mark. However, Stoudemrie is targeting the April 15th game vs. Miami as a possible return.
