Tom Thibodeau confirmed pre-game that Derrick Rose is a no-go tonight vs the Heat with a groin injury along with “a compilation of things”- his status is day-to-day.
C.J. Watson, who has missed the last 5 games with an ankle sprain will get the start tonight. Interesting because in the Bulls pre-game shoot around Watson said: “ankle is the same, still sore. It’s a lot of stuff. None better, none worse. Still hurts a lot. I’m not really comfortable planting and moving, stuff like that, to where I can play without hurting”.
Luol Deng, who missed 2 games resting his wrist, is back and will also start tonight. This is going to be the biggest game of the season for guys to really step up in the absence of Derrick Rose, we’ll see what they’ve got against the team trailing them in the East right now.
